Matt Eng & Rebekah Hamner

Husband and wife duo Rebekah Hamner and Matt Eng lived in Tottori from 2004-2007 where they both taught English at ToriDai. During their 7 years in Japan and 3 in Tottori they loved learning the culture, language and pure loveliness of the people they met. They participated in many events with Kip and Kazuko Cates including TIME events, Hunger Banquet, debates, language classes and more! In 2007, they decided to leave Japan in an epic way by volunteering on the Peace Boat global voyage to 19 countries. Since leaving Tottori several former students have come to stay with them at their house in Austin, Texas. They both are completely crazy for all things Japanese and can't wait to get back to Japan in the next couple of years. 

 レベッカ・ハムナーとマット・エングの夫婦デュオは 2004-2007 年の間鳥大 で英語を教えていました。日本に住んだ 7 年の間、二人とも日本語、日本文 化、そして出会った人々の素晴らしさに魅了されました。キップと佳寿子(ケ イツ)と共にハンガー・バンケット、ディベートなどタイムのイベントにも たくさん参加しました。そして 2007 年に日本を去ることにしたのですが、そ の方法は、ピースボートのボランティアとして 19 か国を訪ねる世界一周する という画期的なものでした。鳥取を去った後、数名の学生がテキサス、オー スティンの二人の家を訪ねてくれました。二人とも日本の物すべてに夢中で 2 年後には日本に戻ろうと楽しみにしているのです。
